The Perfect Escape
After a day discovering Whitby’s cobbled streets, beaches, and local attractions, unwind in your enclosed patio area – perfect for enjoying an alfresco drink with your four-legged companion. Inside, you’ll find a handy fridge, ideal for chilling a bottle of wine or storing a charcuterie board or cheese and biscuits for a cosy evening in, as well as a well-stocked hospitality tray of Tea, Coffee, bottled water, biscuits, and crisps.
You are also within 10/15 minutes of lots of places for breakfast and brunch.


OUR ACCOMMODATION
Although The Anchor Room doesn’t have a kitchen, we have included plates & bowls, cutlery, wine glasses, etc., so you can enjoy a chilled picnic or takeaway at the Anchor Room, giving you a little flexibility.
There is a bistro table & chairs on the patio, which you are welcome to move inside too.
Please do consider, however, that there is only the sink in the shower room to wash up!

How to Find The Anchor Room
These directions will take you straight to The Anchor Room, although you will need to collect your keys from The Endeavour Pub, for which the directions are below.
From the North (Middlesbrough / Teesside):

Take the A171 into Whitby

Continue towards the town centre and, at the roundabout, take the second exit onto Prospect Hill.

At the traffic lights, proceed straight across the junction.

Continue to follow the curve of the road, and the Anchor Room is at 4 Osbourne Terrace just before you take the left-hand bend at the bottom of the hill.
From the South - (Scarborough):

Take the A171 into Whitby

At the traffic lights at Prospect Hill, turn right.

Continue to follow the curve of the road, and the Anchore Room is at 4 Osbourne Terrace just before you take the left-hand bend at the bottom of the hill.
From the West - Pickering/York
